MATERIALS
Plywood, MDF or acrylic. Choose a thickness that suits your machine and the look you want, and try a different color for each layer to bring out the cut-through patterns.

TIP
Test-cut a small piece on scrap material first to check the fit and your power and speed settings. Dry-fit all the layers before gluing, then glue thinly and press flat so the fine mandala details stay crisp. A finished piece looks lovely with a ribbon or a simple gift tag.
